Okay, let's let the Florida diaries begin...... actual event October 29th.
My best friend in the whole world had a great baby shower for me while I was in town. It was a cupcake theme and she did a fantastic job putting it all together. There were great decorations, yummy food, lots of friends and family, some friends that I haven't seen since Justin and I got married, and so many great things for our Hazel.
Here are some highlights from the shower......
As you can see we were very blessed by my home ward and all those who attended. Here are some books that we will get to read to our little girl. Her daddy loves books and I have a sneaky feeling Hazel will learn to love them too.
This is my friend Casey. She was just blessed with this adorable baby boy, Mark, 5 weeks before the shower. I got to hold him and love on him. He is the first baby that I have held since I got pregnant. Once I found out I was pregnant, for some reason all of a sudden I had became afraid to hold babies, which is weird for me because I use to live to hold me some baby!!! Thanks Casey for sharing him with me for few minutes.
This is a scrapbook/photo album that my best friend, Amanda, made for us. It to is done in a cupcake theme and is amazing. She has a true talent to make things beautiful. I am blessed to be able to have this book to be able to document all the great photos of Hazel.
Here is my friend Joy and her daughter Taylor. Taylor was in the One's Class room at the daycare that I first worked at in High School. Needless to say I have been a part of there family for a long time. Joy now has 3 great kids that I just love even though I don't get to see them as often as I use to. I was blessed with the opportunity to be in the room when her youngest son Tucker was born. That is were I first truly understood the miracle of childbirth. 
Amanda Jammes, my hero!!! I sure do love this girl. She has been through so much and yet always finds the possitive things in life. She married a childhood friend of ours and now has 2 great kids. Thanks Amanda for all you do for me and others.
She is a pretty fabulous friend! I love her too. We are both super luck to have her. I'm so excited to see and meet Hazel! You are going to be such a great Mommy, you held Little Mark so sweetly. I love you!
ReplyDeleteI think you are the best friend ever. I do not remember a whole lot of my life that you were ot a part of and I am so thankful for that. I am glad you loved it, I am glad that you got a lot of great goodies and I am glad You let me throw you a party to celebrate what a great women and mother you are and will be. I love you!!!
