We celebrated Nancy's birthday this summer. Hazel got really sick at the time we had planned the July party, so we had to cancel it. We were disappointed, because we wanted to throw a big exciting party. Afterwards, we were on the road so much that we weren't able to reschedule another party. So, we just had a quiet birthday celebration at the house in July.
However, we were able to throw a double birthday party for Nancy and Justin, and a going away party for Becky, in September. We had a picnic outside with pizza and a delicious apple bundt cake that Nancy made.
Mom had the good idea to spread a blanket in the bed of the truck so that ants wouldn't get in the kids' food. Here's a shot of their blonde heads peaking out over the tailgate.
I'm loving the truck picture! Congrats on selling car, but what a bummer that you don't have a pressing excuse to come to Williamsburg now. I miss you!!!
