Since my mom has been in town we are starting to notice that Hazel does in fact have some Shaw in her. These are a few pictures that my mom had brought up with her of me when I was Hazel's age now.
This is a picture of me in a yellow dress that my Granny had made for me. I pulled it out and put it on Hazel. It was really short on her, but it was fun to play dress up.

ReplyDeleteMy mom just cleaned out a closet at home and found some baby pics of me and said Ida looks just like me. But I don't think we will be that similar! But Hazel is so adorable! (just like her mommy!)
I LOVE that yellow dress--It's gorgeous. I see similarities but I still see a lot of Justin in there.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I love that you're 13 months old chomping away on a whole chicken leg. Maybe we're making too big of a deal about cutting up food. Turning our babies into pansies. ;)
I bet your Granny was smiling! I know how much all of the dresses granny made you meant. You treasured them. I remember the polka dotted one you wore all threw our youth. I bet papa would love to see Hazel in those dresses. Tell him your friend who he can never remember her name suggested it.....lol! Hazel is Beautiful a lot like her mommy! Love ya and Miss you!
